The Deputy Governor, state of Osun; Mr. Benedict Gboyega Alabi has rejoice with Ede born leader and father of modern day politics - Alhaji Sule Alao as he joins the league of septuagenarians on earth.

Mr. Alabi in his message said; "Sir, rejoicing with you on this special day of yours is an avenue to thank God for the good life and to appreciate your contribution to the  development of your hometown; Ede, Osun West senatorial district and the state at large".

The Deputy Governor prays to God Almighty to grants the celebrant long life, sound health and endless prosperity in his continuous quest to serve humanity in general.

World Bank ranks Osun the best performing state on RAMP projects The World Bank and the Federal Government of Nigeria have ranked the state of Osun , the best performing state among the five states benefiting in the Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAMP) The Osun (RAMP) project is an assisted Project by the World Bank and the Federal Government being implemented in phases in which Osun has completed the first phase of 225 Kilometers of Rural roads  as well as rural bridges and crossings to link up the rural communities across the length and breath of the state while the implementation of the second phase, covering about 315 kilometers of Rural roads is now at  advanced stage.
