In one of his new year messages released through his Deputy, Benedict Alabi while worshiping at the Saint Benedict Catholic Church, Popo area, Oshogbo, the Governor, State of Osun, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola stated that the current administration in the state was very much interested in the welfare of the people.  "We've been moving here and their to make life meaningful and efficient for our people. Very soon you will be proud of the state of Osun," he said. He urged the people of Osun to support and cooperate with the current administration, and watch out for dividends of democracy in this 2019 and beyond. *Osun Dep Gov. Receives PDP Youths Leader and followers into APC in Ikire. A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area. The former PDP Youths Leader who was in the fold of the   defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Action Congress (AC) before joining the opposition (PDP) with his followers were on Saturday received back into the APC during a meeting of the Party members in ward 6, Ikire. Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and his people were received into the APC by the party Chairman in the ward, Hon Kola Oladiran and the state Deputy Governor  Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi who was part of the meeting with several other party leaders.
