A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area. The former PDP Youths Leader who was in the fold of the   defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Action Congress (AC) before joining the opposition (PDP) with his followers were on Saturday received back into the APC during a meeting of the Party members in ward 6, Ikire. *Osun school Feeding programme O'Meals got a boost .* An international reputable food security agency under NEPAD called Nutrition Natural Resources Governance and Food Security Programme (NHGSFP) has signified its intention to partner with the Government of the State of Osun on its school feeding program, O'Meals, for quality service delivery of the programme. According to the agency’s visitor to Nigeria, area of collaboration is to strengthening nutritional component in terms of developing standardized menu and inclusion of Orange fleshed sweet potato to combat vitamin A deficiency among the school pupils in Osun.
