The Red Cross Society of Nigeria,Osun division paid Honourable Adeboye Opeyemi courtesy visit recently in his office at Wasinmi in which they seek his government partnership and symbiotic relationship in the duo activities..
The non governmental organization team led by its Osun state Vice Chairman,Elder Odelami J A accompanied by the head of Irewole division, Mrs Orisabode Ayo and host of others said the visit was born out of the noticeable commitments of Hon Adeboye Opeyemi to humanitarian service; so they see him as the perfect replica of what the organization needs to revitalize the dwindling fortune of the organization in seeking new, young and vibrant members.
The Elder statesman said they are extending a hand of gesture by bestowing the chairman with a membership couple with other responsibilities to facilitate new members to the society.
Reiterating the vice chairman, Mrs Orisabode Ayo said they need new members in the society as the current set up especially in Irewole is made of the old. She said once they get interested members, they are ready to expedite their training as the Red Cross Society plays an important roles in the community especially during emergency period while she confirmed certain amounts of road accident victims lost their lives due to non availability of their members within that area to render first aid.
In his reactions, the executive chairman of Irewole North East LCDA, Honourable Adeboye Opeyemi appreciates the society kind gestures and that he is ready to do anything within his means to see to the revitalization of the society in Irewole and Osun as a whole. He assured them to facilitates new members to the society and also provide logistics support to see to the growth of the non governmental organization while he accepted their request to be a member of the organization.
