Osun Deputy Governor Greets Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola on her 59th Birthday.

The Deputy Governor State of Osun, Mr. Benedict Alabi joined millions of people, families, friends and well wishers to celebrate the wife of the State of Osun former Governor and now Minister for Interior, Mr. Sherifat Aregbesola.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Sunkanmi Ajiboye, the Deputy Governor eulogized Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola saying, "Alhaja Sherifat has been the pillar of Aregbesola dynasty. Loving and caring mother. We salute her on this important celebration of her birthday".

The Deputy Governor prayed for Mrs. Sherifat Aregbesola for God's guidance in all her undertakings.

A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area. The former PDP Youths Leader who was in the fold of the   defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Action Congress (AC) before joining the opposition (PDP) with his followers were on Saturday received back into the APC during a meeting of the Party members in ward 6, Ikire.
