PROGRESSIVES e-GROUP CONGRATULATES ALL COMMISSIONERS AND SPECIAL ADVISERS NOMINEES OF GOVERNOR OYETOLA

Progressives e-Group (the official online media arm of APC in the state of Osun) congratulate in our individual and collective capacity all the newly announced Commissioners and Special Advisers nominees of Osun through a letter from His Excellency, Governor Gboyega Oyetola to Osun House of Assembly today.

We are happy and proud of our dear Governor for fulfilling one of the requirements of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended), section 192( 2) and 196(1) by transmitting this stars studded list to the Rt. Hon. Timothy Owoeye led House for screening, consideration and approval.

We have no inhibition in our minds that this list is a round peg in a round hole. While sending our warm greetings to the nominees, we also admonish them to see their nomination as a clarion call to serve the people of the state and contribute their quota to the development of the state both in impact and measurement for posterity to judge them well.

We wish them the needed ability and capacity to settle down on time and more importantly, a successful tenure of office to the advancement of Osun in various ministries, departments and agencies they might be posted to serve later.

A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area. The former PDP Youths Leader who was in the fold of the   defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Action Congress (AC) before joining the opposition (PDP) with his followers were on Saturday received back into the APC during a meeting of the Party members in ward 6, Ikire.
