OSUN HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY: A COMPLEMENTARY PARTNER TO AREGBESOLA'S SUCCESS IN OSUN.... By Progressives e-Group

No one will understand or appreciate the great work Osun House of Assembly is doing to ensure Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola's administration fulfil all his promises to Osun people until such a person visits and watch the house at plenary. Osun Assembly members are simply a round peg in a round hole.

Since last week Monday, the House has been welcoming ministries, departments and agencies to come and defend their 2018 budget proposal under the House Committee on Appropriation led by Hon. Kamil Oyedele of Orolu/Irepodun State Constituency. The budget defense sessions were not only thoroughly participatory but fruitfully engaging.

The members at plenary attached all seriousness needed to the state issues, they proffer solution to daunting challenges and work out modalities for sustainable growth and development in various corporations, units and agencies while they were defending their budgets.

Kudos must be given to all the 26 members of Osun House of Assembly led by Rt. Hon. Najeem Folasayo Salam Ph.D for being a worthy partner and dependable organ in the current Osun renewal project under the able leadership of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. We happily say, forward ever and backward never.

Long live Osun House of Assembly,
Long live State Government of Osun,
Long live Federal Republic of Nigeria.

A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area. The former PDP Youths Leader who was in the fold of the   defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Action Congress (AC) before joining the opposition (PDP) with his followers were on Saturday received back into the APC during a meeting of the Party members in ward 6, Ikire.
