The Elder Forum and people of Ikire in Irewole local government of Osun have expressed their profound gratitude to Osun governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola and All Progressives Congress (APC) for the opportunity given to one of them; Mr. Benedict Gboyega Alabi to occupy the number two seat in the state. The feat, according to the forum is unprecedented in the political annals of the ancient town which they described as a big favour for the entire people of Ikire both at home and in diaspora.
