THE FIRST HUNDRED DAYS -
I READ SDP HANDWRITING IN APC GOVERNOR OYETOLA'S  MOVES IN OSUN!

The emergence of Osun Governor Gboyega Oyetola through the coalition of his APC and Senator Iyiola Omisore's SDP in the Thursday 27th September 2018 Re-run gubernatorial Elections in the state is no longer news.
What is worthy of attention now are the deft moves of Governor Oyetola, in his first hundred days in office, in steering the wheels of the State of Osun, particularly the economy in the direction of stability and greater prosperity...

First was the move to sustain the last minute move of the immediate past administration of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola in full, virtually timely payment of public servants' salaries.

Secondly and closely related to the above move is the recent declaration of the Governor, through the Supervisor for Finance, Bola Oyebamiji, that "modulated" as a terminology would *never* precede treatment of salaries and other emoluments of the same Osun public servants again- full regular payment of public service salaries is now the order in Osun - kudos!

Third and most recent is the reported display of a list of pensioners that served Osun, who are now being invited for further treatment towards payment of their gratuities and pensions. There can't be any sweeter music to the ears and hearts of those included for now, and hardly can there be brighter hope of tomorrow for others queueing behind them!

One should also mention that at least one of the three most recent appointments into Osun Government offices, announced and being celebrated now all over the state and beyond, is that of one man who has spent most of his life dwelling within the state and in the service of Osun, once as General Manager of the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation before retiring as Permanent Secretary from the state civil service, Prince Wole Oyebamiji, now Secretary to the State Government.
Whist the two other appointees, highly cerebral Dr. Charles Diji Akinola as Chief of Staff to the Governor, and youthful Hon. Abdullah Binuyo as Deputy Chief of Staff, are also experienced in the administration of Osun, that of Prince Wole Oyebamiji signals more hope for long-standing dwellers/indigenes of Osun, of increased inclusion in the governance of our State, going forward.

Observing that the above and many other moves of the new administration of Governor Oyetola in Osun are remarkably satisfying to the people now, and essentially the most crucial of the terms of Coalition of the SDP (in fact specific items of the SDP manifesto) and the APC in jointly presenting Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola as leading candidate at the 2018 re-run gubernatorial elections in Osun, leading to his occupying the Governor's seat today, I can safely declare that I read the good handwriting of the SDP in the fresh progressive administration of the APC in the State.

Kudos therefore to the leadership of SDP in Osun (anchored by Dr. Yemi Farombi, Otunba Iyiola Omisore and Chief Mrs. Remi Olowu, with the party's State Working Committee), and the Osun leadership of the APC, for all the support to Governor Oyetola and his team now leading Osun to greater heights with really admirable administrative dexterity!
Please note however that the people of Osun are even more expectant!
