Osun Deputy Governor, Mr. Benedict Gboyega Alabi inspects ongoing road projects.
The Deputy Governor, state of Osun, Mr. Benedict Gboyega Alabi today inspected ongoing rehabilitation of roads and drainages at oke-ola area, Apomu, Isokan local government area.
Addressing pressmen, Mr. Benedict Alabi expressed the government’s commitment to providing adequate infrastructure and making sure that the yearnings of the people are met.
He said that despite the paucity of fund in the state , Governor Oyetola is working hard to ensure he delivers on his promises to the electorates.
"One of the major things people were requesting for during our electioneering campaign is the rehabilitation of roads and Gov. Oyetola showed his commitment on it immediately he resumed office."
Mr. Alabi reaffirmed that government will give sustainable infrastructure in order to have conducive environment for our economic growth.
He also urge the people of Osun to be more supportive to the government and continue to maintain the spirit of being omoluabis.
In his own chat with the media, the Chairman Irewole local government, Mr. Remi Abass, commended the efforts of Governor Oyetola on his commitment to fulfill all his electioneering campaign promises.
He expressed his pleasure as the Chairman of Irewole that during his own tenure the socioeconomic condition of his people is improving.
Also, the contractor of the projects, Engr. Razak Ademola Adediji assured the government and the people that the project will be complete before the end of April.
He commended the Deputy Governor for his special inspection and gave kudos to Gov. Oyetola on his unrelenting efforts on infrastructural development in the state.
