We can revealed from a reliable source that People Democratic Party (PDP) leaders from Irewole local government collided with Senator Ademola Adeleke to diverted electricity transformers meant to serve the people of Irewole local government to Egbedore local government from Federal Government Rural Electricification Program in a mission to return Ikire to back to darkness.
The source revealed that this is not only electric transformers that had been diverted, that it is almost 20 sets of 500KVA. We also learnt that this diversion mission is to score cheap political point and to effect setback in the activities of deputy governor of the state and son of the soil; Mr Gboyega Alabi in making sure we have a stable electricity in Ikire.
The information also confirmed it that the transformers were part of what late Sen. Isiaka Adeleke promised Ikire at the palace of Akire before we lost him. People of Ikire should wake-up to ask our present Senator Ademola Adeleke the whereabouts of these transformers?
The questions on many lips are; why are these people so wicked and heartless because of politics? What would they gain if Ikire return to the dark days of darkness? Ikire people should now know their true friends and real enemies. Questions should be asked from those self-centered parading themselves as leaders in PDP from Irewole local government.
