The Deputy Governor State of Osun, Mr Benedict Olugboyega Alabi has joined Family members, friends, associates and well wishers to identify with a member, State of Osun House Assembly who is representing Egbedore state constituency, Hon Abiodun Awolola as he clocks 57 Years.

Mr Alabi  was among the dignitaries present at a thanksgiving service marking the 57th birthday anniversary of Hon Awolola who is the Chairman house committee on works and transportation held on Sunday at St. Paul's Anglican Church Ido-Osun.

Other dignitaries present at the service to praise God and rejoice with the celebrant included the former State Deputy Governor Otunba Titilayo Laoye Tomori, the Deputy Speaker of the state house of Assembly Hon Adegboye Akintunde, members of the state house of Assembly, Secretary to the State Government Prince Wole Oyebamji, former members of the state executive council, Traditional rulers which included the Timi of Ede, the Akirun of Ikirun, Aragbiji of Iragbiji among others.

*Osun Dep Gov. Receives PDP Youths Leader and followers into APC in Ikire. A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area. The former PDP Youths Leader who was in the fold of the   defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Action Congress (AC) before joining the opposition (PDP) with his followers were on Saturday received back into the APC during a meeting of the Party members in ward 6, Ikire.
