Easter message: There are brighter days ahead, Hon Adeboye Opeyemi tells Nigerians in his Easter message............

The executive chairman of Irewole North East LCDA, Hon Adeboye Opeyemi had on Saturday in his easter message tells Nigerians there are brighter days ahead and should not loose hope in the Nation even though things might look gloomy.

"Easter is a time Christians celebrate the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ who offered Himself as a sacrifice for the remission for the sins of the world. Christ's resurrection as a testimony of the new covenant is the justification for Christians’ commemoration of the triumph of life over death, freedom over bondage and hope over despair, at this time,”

I, therefore, urge us not to loose hope on ourselves, our nation no matter how uphill the challenges facing us collectively might look. We must keep faith and believe in God and our nation at all times, so we can all build a country we will be proud of in no distant time.

May the promise of Easter fill your heart with peace and joy - Happy Easter

A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area. The former PDP Youths Leader who was in the fold of the   defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and Action Congress (AC) before joining the opposition (PDP) with his followers were on Saturday received back into the APC during a meeting of the Party members in ward 6, Ikire.
