Governor Gboyega Oyetola has said any responsible government must make people's demand the basis of its policy and implementation.
The Governor made the assertion on Monday while receiving the report of the Thank You Visit committee set up to assess needs of each community.
Mr Oyetola said he set up the committee as part of the concept of inclusiveness of his administration, believing that people should have a say in how they are governed.
The Governor noted that the people should be given the latitude to hear their needs and wants.
He thanked the committee for doing a wonderful job. He assured that implementation of the report will be done with the participation of the members of the committee.
Earlier Chairman of the Committee and Secretary of APC in the State Alhaji AbduRazak Salinsile appreciated the Governor for giving members of the committee the privilege to serve the party and the State.
Alhaji Salinsile observed that the job the committee did reflected in the fortune of APC in this year's general elections where the party did well at the National and State levels.
Mr Richard Tinubu, (CoS), Hon Jayeoba Alagbada, Bisi Odewumi, Alhaja Kudrat Fakikunde, Comrade Amitolu Shitu, Alhaji Suleiman Aderemi among others were on the committee.
