Ikire plank sellers and community leaders appreciate government of Gboyega Oyetola as deputy governor reassures continuous development
The Ikire plank sellers has commended the government of Mr. Gboyega Oyetola for starting on a very good note. They stated this during a courtesy visit by deputy governor of the state, Mr. Benedict Alabi to their operational base at Orisunmibare, Ikire in order to show his appreciation and sensitise them on what is expected of them during the coming elections.
Mr. Gboyega Alabi vowed to solve all issues surrounding non thriving of their business and pledged to improve on electricity supply to help grow their business more. While given his remarks; the chairman of plank sellers association (Ikire Chapter) - Alhaji Baoku Babalola congratulated Mr. Alabi for their victory at the poll after a keenly contested election. Mr. Babalola used the avenue to registered their concerns on areas where government need to improve on especially levies collection method.
The deputy governor, Mr. Gboyega Alabi thanked the association for their openness while interacting with him. He assured that whatever happened in the past shall never rear its ugly head again as far as levies collection anomaly is concerned. He also pledged his all times availability to answer any calls for the progress of people towards growth and development of Osun. Mr. Alabi said the government of Mr. Gboyega Oyetola is ready to develop all environment to ease business whereby investors will be rushing to establish their businesses.
Mr. Alabi also used the opportunity to inspect the Sango Molarere road under construction where he interacted with community leaders of Amukuku and Molarere. He assured them of completion of the road before last quarter of 2019. He said any government that can not provide good road, steady electricity and social amenities should be sacked. He assured continuous improvement in stable electricity supply, good water, security.
The community leaders in their responses appreciated the government of Gboyega Oyetola and APC for taking development of their areas a priority. They in turn pledged their support for this government APC in the state especially at the forthcoming election next year.
