Special Prayer held for “BOA” at Ikire Central Mosque

The chief Imam of Ikire, Imam .Surajudeen Raji Adesile .said a special prayer for the Deputy Governor of the State of Osun, Olugboyega Alabi for his intervention on the electricity black out at Ikire for quite a long time.

The chief Imam told the congregation that it was Mr. Alabi that intervened by doing the needful with the Ibadan Disco that brought about the steady electricity enjoyed in the ancient town nowadays. He added that the Deputy Governor is also working on water supply believing that scarcity of water would soon be a thing of the past.

He then prayed God to be with Mr. Gboyega Alabi and guide him to successfully govern the state of Osun with His Excellency, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, the Governor, State of Osun.

A former youth leader in the main opposition party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Irewole local Government area of Osun state, Hon Kamarudeen Agbara and hundreds of his followers on Saturday defected to the rulling party All Progressives Congress (APC) in ward 6 Iyana egba Ikire in Irewole local government area.
