PRESIDENT BUHARI GREETS PAPA CHRIS OGUNBANJO AT 95
President Muhammadu Buhari joins family and friends in celebrating one of Nigeria’s foremost corporate lawyers and businessman, Papa Christopher Oladipo Ogunbanjo, as he turns 95 years.
The President congratulates the nonagenarian for his contributions to the development of law practice in the country, particularly his interest in advocating domiciliary accounts in the banking system, which had since become one of the major drivers of the economy.
President Buhari commends Papa Ogunbanjo’s foresight and resourcefulness in always taking bold steps for knowledge and also encouraging younger people to pursue wisdom, knowledge and hard work as gateways to success, while also helping the less privileged with his resources.
As he clocks 95, the President believes the God-fearing, sacrificial, disciplined and focused lifestyle of the senior citizen are attributes of a good life, urging younger Nigerians to train their minds on values that contribute to the development of the country and humanity.
The President prays more of God’s grace for strength and good health for Papa Ogunbanjo.
